Annual Yellow Report for Cruise Ports
The Cruising Healthy Annual Yellow Report for Cruise Ports consists of embarking cruise ports that have performed well, but could have done a slightly better job to contain GI Illness on their cruise ship or cruise ports of embarkation over the entire calendar year. This report provides cruise line executives, including ship officers, the ability to examine the performance of their cruise ship with respect to the embarking cruise port or ports throughout the calendar year.
More specifically, cruise line executives as well as passengers might consider several factors including, but not limited to: the cruise port risk management plan for GI Illness; the cruise port's staff adherance to the risk management plan for GI Illness; the cruise route including the intermediate stops; and the cleanliness of the embarking port. Because multiple cruise lines may utilize the same embarking cruise port, the problem may lie within their cruise ship, cruise line or with a competitor's cruise ship or cruise line.
